Rising  Star 2025

Criteria

A player who is showing commitment, dedication and professionalis

m and whom the Committee believes will play an important role in the club for many years to come.  This  Award can only be received once.


Age Group 13-15 years
Skill Level: Demonstrating exceptional netball skills and techniques for their age group.


Commitment: Showing dedication to training, games, and overall improvement.
Sportsmanship: Displaying good sportsmanship, including respect for teammates, opponents, and officials.
Team Contribution: Making significant contributions to the team’s performance and dynamics.
Leadership: Exhibiting leadership qualities on and off the court.
Potential: Showing potential for future development and success in netball

The Maureen Hull Memorial Trophy - Senior Club Person

This award honours an adult member of the Club whose dedication, commitment, and service extend far beyond any expectation.

Junior Club Person

This award is presented to a junior club member (18 years and under) who volunteers for the benefit of the club. 
It reflects the great service of a young person giving back to the club. 
Examples of extra services may include coaching, umpiring or managing.
This person should also be a positive club member, willingness to assist with any tasks around eg set up/pack up and be a good role model on and off the court to all junior players.

Umpiring Award

Club Umpire
This award is presented to an individual who has gone above and beyond to assist this year in the umpiring space.  They are always willing to assist and step in whenever needed to make sure we are covered for umpires.
Their commitment is evident to the Club as they spend entire days supporting our Club and its members.
Beyond umpiring, they are mentor to others and always willing to share their knowledge and experience to help fellow umpires grow and excel.

Club Umpire Encouragement Award
This award recognises an aspiring umpire who has demonstrated a willingness to dedicate
themselves to learning and developing as an umpire. Some of the values displayed by the candidate
may include:
. A high level of dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm towards the role of umpiring
. Strives to improve their knowledge and skills as an umpire
. Respectful and professional conduct towards players, officials and fellow umpires
. A positive and growth- orientated attitude, demonstrated through an openness to feedback and the
ability to learn from both success and challenges.
This award celebrates not only potential but also the character and work ethic that lay the foundation for a successful future in officiating.
